My educational biography includes a Bachelors’ in Science in History from Lewis & Clark College, an M.A.T. also from L&C, as well as numerous post-degree courses.
My educational philosophy includes meeting each student where they are, setting goals for school success, holding students accountable to high expectations in every class, and modifying goals as necessary. My hope for each student is to teach them the skills to “know how to know” so they will be able to engage in learning new things for the rest of their lives.
Although I primarily teach Social Studies, I have also taught Language Arts, Math Support, Credit Recovery, Health, and sometimes even Technology!
