I joined the CPS team for the 2018-2019 school year as the School Counselor. Prior to coming to the Centennial District, I worked in a post-secondary vocational school, an alternative high school, and various youth service positions.
I was raised in Long Island, New York and received a B.A. in English through the State University in Albany, New York. After a couple years of working in the field of employment services, I decided to pursue an M.S. in School Counseling. I completed this degree in 2010 at The Sage Colleges in Troy, New York. Immediately following graduation, I moved to Portland, Oregon with a friend, mostly on a whim.
I’ve put down roots in Portland over the last several years and now live with my husband and two small children. Outside of school, I enjoy burying myself in a book, exploring playgrounds with my kids, and trying out new doughnut shops.
