I grew up in Georgia and my first move west was to Colorado for graduate school. In 2005, I received my Master’s Degree in School Counseling and moved to Portland. I am passionate about working with underserved youth and helping students to gain access to higher education. I have worked in schools since 2005 and at CPS since 2010.
Here at CPS, I coordinate our dual enrollment program and ECMC Scholars Program. I work with senior students and help them to access financial aid, scholarships, explore careers, and plan for their next steps. I feel honored to help students develop a future plan as they transition out of high school. I live in Portland with my husband, son, & two dogs. We love to spend time camping, hiking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
